We have a tutorial for you!. A lovely cushion with fringes is waiting!. It is sewn from cross-twill fabrics called strips. To make it looks even more interesting we”ve chosen two colours: Tropicana and Gaja.
Enjoy!
You will need:
Two pieces of fabric
4 fringes
Pillow fill (1 kg)
Marker or tailor’s chalk
Scissors
Tape measure
Sewing pins
Sewing machine and threads
1. Cut the fabric for pillow with 2 cm margin.
2. Pin the fringles with pins on right side of one of the fabrics and sew it on sewing machine.
3. Fold two pieces of fabric together with right sides, sew on the sewing machine and Leave about 10cm opening to reverse the pillow.
4. Sew the places where frigles are attached again for reassurence.
5. Reverse the pillow to the right side and iron. Pop in the sewing pins at distance 5cm and sew it on the the sewing machine. Remember to leave the same opening!
6. Fill the pillow with filling. Sew the opening on sewing machine or manually with ladden stitch.
