Most babies suffer for colic in their first months. Sometimes babies cry about an hour. There are also situations when the little one cries continuously many weeks for hours.
Today we have a super speedy tutorial how to do thermal pillow. The main advantage of this pillow is that it’s dry. We do not use hot water which can stop kids from being too creative. Thermal pillow is filled with cherry stones and they are absolutely amazing. You can collect the cherry stones during the season, then wash and dry them. If you do not have cherry stones, you can use beans or, as we did, rice.
We will need:
Fabric
Scissors
Sewing pins
Rice, beans or cherry stones
Sewing machine
You can heat the thermal pillow in microwave. Always check its temperature before use and never use the pillow directly on on babies’ skin. Use additional clothes layer.
You can also put the thermal bag into plastic bag and freeze it. It is a perfect remedy for kids’ bruise ;-).
Our tutorial shows the basic version of thermal pillow.
It’s a great idea to make clothes for pillow or even a teddy and but the bag into its tummy.
